Did you see us at the Best of Bolton on the 6th? We were there from 1pm until 7pm, at the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa in Bromley Cross. We had a wonderful time there and we are thrilled at the chance we got to get to know our neighbours in Bolton properly – and to meet some old friends and fellow businesses once again and connect! We value networking events like these as a change to make connections and refresh old ones alike, so if you were at Best of Bolton and already a friend of ours, we are so glad we got the chance to meet you again.
The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa is absolutely gorgeous, and we enjoyed getting to go and see the hotel in person with the Tudor architecture and the grounds around it. Bromley Cross is right near us, since we are based in Egerton, and it’s just as beautiful as Egerton itself is – not that it’s a competition, but it’s pretty close. We were grateful the weather held up given the turbulent few days that we’ve had surrounding it.
Not only that, but the reception by the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa was incredible. Pizza was being served outside, Sushma’snacks served Kenyan inspired spicy tikka kebabs wrapped in warm naan bread, and there was a bar serving tasters of prosecco and gin. Brazilian dancers gave us a show of their skills in beautiful carnival costumes, bringing an air of party to the events. Music was brought by Bolton FM, bringing a party atmosphere to the event.
Did we see you there? We definitely ran into some old friends and business clients, but we met many new faces we haven’t seen before. Just like with Shout!, we’re constantly impressed by the innovation, friendliness and variety of businesses in the Manchester and North-West region in general, and Best of Bolton was a stellar showcase of that talent and drive.
If you didn’t get a chance to see us, keep your eyes peeled on our social media accounts for future networking events – we’re sure to do more in the future. Alternatively, why don’t you skip the wait and give us a call? We’ll be more than happy to fit you in for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat about what you might need.
