The HSE, or Health and Safety Executive, regulates Health and Safety in the workplace. Under Health and Safety legislation, it is the Employer’s duty to minimise all risks within the workplace that could seriously affect an Employee’s physical or mental health, including illness and injury. This covers everything from providing hard hats, introducing cleaning procedures in a kitchen, to providing support for mental health and wellbeing.
